“CEREC” Crown Came Off Again

My “CEREC” crown came off for the 3rd time. It’s not really CEREC but the dentist I got it from couldn’t or wouldn’t tell me the real name of the crown. It’s a generic form of CEREC but looks just as good or better than CEREC. That’s all good but the problem is it won’t stay on. This is the 3rd time it came off. I have an appt on Tuesday to get it cemented back. I am just wondering why it would keep coming off. Thanks. M. Lombardo

M. Lombardo – We’re sorry to hear that you are having difficulty with your crown. There are several factors that can contribute to lack of stability in a dental crown.

Speak with your dentist and ask him or her why your crown is repeatedly coming off. If you don’t receive a satisfying answer, or if it continues to come off, consider getting a second opinion from a dentist who offers genuine CEREC products and is experienced in crown placement.
