Snap On Smile Won’t Snap And It Falls Off

I can put my snap on smile on but it never really snaps. It doesn’t feel snug at all. I can’t count the times it has fallen off, but I can feel it slipping so I manage to catch it. Can this thing be re-molded or do I have to get a new one? Thanks. Jay

Jay – It is possible that an experienced Snap-On Smile dentist can make adjustments to your appliance, but that depends on the condition and age of it.

Usually, a proper fit is ensured when you first receive the appliance. The need to adjust it when it’s new is normal. If an experienced dentist isn’t able to give you a proper fit, then you will need a new Snap-On Smile. It is not possible to re-mold it.

This might be a good time to speak with a cosmetic dentist about your options for a smile makeover. If you will continue to purchase a new Snap-On Smile each time it wears out, cosmetic dentistry may give you better results and be less expensive in the long term. Dental bonding, teeth whitening, dental crowns, or a combination of these treatments may give you great results. If longer-lasting forms of cosmetic dentistry interest you, ask about how treatment can be made affordable for you.
